Characters
Meet the characters!
Rin Kato ( Tina Su ) is a promising member of the renowned Eitoku Gakuen Pop Idol Team, until an altercation with her eccentric principal sees her exiled to the inaka. Surprisingly, it is here where she learns something the Academy neglected to teach her: how to have fun! However, when Rin is challenged to step up to her old nemesis.
Hikari Motokawa ( Kristyn Galane ) is the self proclaimed “Star” of Kumagaoka Koukou. She aspires to be a model performer and is the leader (but not captain) of her school’s pop Idol club. She is quite genki, a bit cocky, and a little pushy, but at the end of the day, she is well intentioned.
Shami-sensei ( Martyn Bisset ) is no stranger to pop contests from his youth. Seeing Ringo-chan about to turn her back on her talent and walk away from her future he is driven to unite her with the school's dance club and build a winning team! A strong, inspirational yet mildly erratic figure hoping to give his students the chance to achieve something he turned his back on a long time ago.
Shiori Noda, ( Julia Kim ), the dullard, is a student at an inaka school who is forced to join the Pop Idol Team club in school. She has a strong interest in fish and scientists like Darwin, so she comes off as a nerd. She's socially awkward and nervously laughs all the time, but she tries hard to have a normal conversation and to be friends with the cool kids.
Yamada Denkiro ( Lawrence Denes ) is a classmate of Rin's, and he's not very bright, but he's got a big heart. He's hopelessly in love with Rin, but he doesn't even realize it. Tennoji (Yasmin) often picks on Yamada Denkiro, but he always gets back up and does his best for Rin.
The Host played by Nathan Cole

Kouchou-sensei ( Nicole Meanor ) of Eitoku Gakuen is strict but cheerful, and perhaps a little unstable. A minor celebrity in her youth and a former member of the school's Pop Idol Club, she takes the Club's activities very seriously, to the point where she almost seems to be
living vicariously through the current members. She also has some unfinished business with her sempai from her days in the Club.
Asuka Tennoji played by Yasmin Saaka
Sempai ( Marissa Takazawa ) is the upbeat, encouraging, and well-respected captain of the Eitoku Gakuen Pop Idol dance team. Her kindness and skill make her a natural leader, and the Eitoku dance team seeks her leadership both on the dance floor and off. As all san-nenseis must do, she leaves the dance team to study for university entrance exams but returns to dispense some final words of advice to her beloved team.
Fruits-chan played by Jinkyung Rinrin
